Papers, Please will be available on mobile phones from August 5

Papers, Please already has versions for iPad and PS Vita, but the game has not appeared on smartphones. It will be fixed soon: the creator of the project Lucas Pope has announced that he is releasing a port for iOS and Android.

In the comments Mr Pope says the following:

• Papers, Please mobile will be a regular paid app. It is not included in the Apple Arcade subscription.
• All localizations that are on the PC will be saved (therefore, Russian will also be there).
• The interface on phones is built around making reading from a small screen comfortable (although there is no magnifying glass or anything like that).
• There is no new content, but the balance has been slightly changed.
• The iPad version will be updated to become a universal app: if you already have an iPad copy, you'll get the iPhone version for free.
• "The console release is scheduled for 2031," jokes Lucas Pope.

Papers, Please for iOS and Android will be released on August 5. We will remind you that the original was launched in August 2013, the version for iPad – in December 2014, and for PS Vita – in December 2017. In the first three years since its release, the circulation of Papers, Please exceeded 1.8 million copies.
