New video from the secret room of NieR: Automata-9S battles a boss and talks to birds

For a month the community of NieR: Automata fans is shocked by the discovery of the user nicknamed Sadfutago. He somehow managed to find a hidden location in the game, which no one has found before. The gamer has posted another entry from the secret room.

Recall that Sadfutago was able to find a door in an unremarkable wall in the "Replica City" location and go to the church. If in the previous video he did it for the character A2, in the new one he did it for 9S.

The footage shows the character hacking into a chest to get a text message about Jonah's patient condition, and then fighting a shadow boss. After winning, 9S interacts with the pigeons on the drinker in the corner of the room. If the machine translation from Japanese is to be believed, it asks why humans have disappeared from the world. Two lines are given to choose from - they don't live much and because of the black disease. If you choose the first option, the player is thrown to the beginning of the corridor. What happens when the alternate line is chosen is unknown.

Dataminer Lance McDonald (Lance McDonald) noted that none of the shown assets (except the archive note and the enemy model) does not exist in any known build of NieR: Automata on PC or PS4. Therefore, it's impossible for modders to make such a room. In addition, in his opinion, the conversation with the birds is borrowed from NieR Replicant, and the author of the video gave the wrong answer.
