New chip, larger battery and more powerful charging: Insider told what the folding smartphone vivo X Fold S will be different from the vivo X Fold

In the network there was already information that the company vivo is working on a new foldable smartphone X Fold S. Now an insider told what the novelty will differ from the current model.

What are the differences

So, the vivo X Fold S will be an improved version of the vivo X Fold, which was shown in the first half of 2022. The novelty will differ in three parameters: processor, battery and charging. Instead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, the vivo X Fold S will have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Also, the smartphone will get an increased battery from 4,600 to 4,700 mAh and a charging capacity of 80 watts instead of 66 watts.

As for the other specs, they will remain the same. That is, the smartphone will have displays of 8.03" and 6.53", as well as a quad-camera of 50 MP + 48 MP + 12 MP + 8 MP. To introduce the vivo X Fold S should be in September.
