Sims 4 will be freely available next month
Today EA announced that starting next month the base edition of The Sims 4 will be free on all platforms. The company also announced a live broadcast, where the game's developer Maxis will talk about his plans for the development of the game.
The Sims 4 is the sequel to the popular real-life simulation series, released in 2014. Since then it has sold over 20 million copies and received a huge amount of new content (more than 50 additions). Despite its venerable age, the game is still supported and new content is released. The last update of The High School was released in July this year and was warmly received by the players.
The game will be free on Origin and Steam on PC, PS4/PS5, Xboxe Series X/S, Xbox One and Mac on October 18, 2022.
