Google Photos got a major update: a new Memories section and an improved collage editor

Google has announced a major update to its cloud-based Photos service.

Here's What's New About It

The main change in the new version is the Memories section. It got a new design and became more dynamic.

Also developers added animation to photos, small scaling and 3D effect. The app will select appropriate photos and make them three-dimensional. In addition, the new version has the ability to share memories with other users.

Google has also added a new collage editor. Users will finally be able to edit their collages with different grids, move photos and select the background.
