Developers can't stop now: Hit the Island uses the iPhone 14 Pro cutout for ping-pong
Apple is allowing third-party developers to create apps and tools that use the Dynamic Island cutout on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max smartphones. We've written before about how the developers of the Apollo app have added some sort of "Tamagotchi "- a pixel animal that walks around the notch while you read Reddit. And Kriss Smolka, developer of apps like WaterMinder and HabitMinder, came up with an entire game called Hit the Island.
Details
The game is made in the style of ping-pong: you need to bounce the ball off the bottom of the display so that it hits the cutout. You get points for each hit, but the speed of the ball increases. In addition, at some point, several balls may appear on the screen, and the "racket" will shrink.
Who has an iPhone 14 Pro right now? Need to test this on device asap!

Hit The Island - our game concept for iPhone 14 Pro, still laggy but it's turning out nice :) #iPhone14Pro #iOS16 pic.twitter.com/kWLU77gk6d
Hit the Island game can be downloaded HERE, it's completely free. The game is also available for other iPhones: there you have to hit the notch instead of Dynamic Island.
