BAE Systems and Malloy Aeronautics reveal T-650 drone with three Brimstone missiles
British companies Malloy Aeronautics and BAE Systems took part in the Defence Vehicle Dynamic exhibition, where they demonstrated the T-650 drone with Brimstone missiles.
Here's What We Know
The T-650 is an unmanned aerial vehicle with eight electric engines, introduced about a year ago. It has a huge payload capacity, which immediately interested the military. And now we see that Malloy Aeronautics and BAE Systems have managed to pair the drone with Brimstone missiles.
The drone can lift a payload of up to 300 kg. The weight of three Brimstone missiles is about 150 kg in total. The T-650 can reach a speed of 140 km/h and has a range of 30 km. It is possible that these parameters could have been changed for a modification that can drop missiles.
