The Dynamic Island cutout, like the iPhone 14 Pro, is now available for Android: how?
The highlight of the new Apple iPhone 14 Pro smartphones is the Dynamic Island cutout, which replaced the "monobrow". And now this notch is available for Android devices as well.
Details
Developer Jawomo has made an app that brings Apple's Dynamic Island to Android devices - at least aesthetically. It's the DynamicSpot app, and it's already available for download in the Google Play store.
It allows you to manually adjust the position and size of the "island" depending on where your gadget cutout is located. Of course, you can't expect the full functionality of Dynamic Island, and the application itself certainly needs some work. But it is still an interesting solution to change the way notifications are delivered.
DynamicSpot works for free, but you'll have to pay $4.99 to add some advanced features like displaying on the lock screen or tapping icons to open apps.
