Ukrainian paratroopers shot down a Russian Su-30 fighter jet and destroyed an armored Su-25 attack aircraft

The command of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports the successful completion of the combat mission by the soldiers of the air defense unit.

Here's What We Know

Soldiers of the 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade were able to shoot down a Russian Su-25 Grach armored attack aircraft. After a precise hit the plane crashed.

The pilot of the Su-30 fighter was luckier. Despite the accurate hit the aircraft continued to maneuver. Whether the plane was able to reach the Russian military base is not yet known.
