Microsoft has changed the Photos program in Windows again

Microsoft recently redesigned the standard Windows Photos program to better match the aesthetics of Windows 11. But now it has decided to freshen up the look of the program once again, as well as bringing a few improvements.

Here's What We Know

The most noticeable change in the new version is usually the design. According to the developers, the updated design is designed to make it easier to browse, search, manage and use photos. The Memories feature has also been improved.

Also, you won't be able to use the old video editing software in the new version. In order to trim videos you are encouraged to use the built-in Clipchamp.

When We Can Expect It

The updated Photos app will be available to Windows Insider members starting Wednesday.
