Xiaomi Mijia 1S: a robot vacuum cleaner that drains dirty and pours clean water to clean the floor
Xiaomi Mijia sub-brand introduced in China a new robot vacuum cleaner for dry and wet cleaning Xiaomi Mijia 1S. Its highlight was a fully automated cleaning station.
Details
Usually cleaning stations empty the dust collectors themselves, but in this case the base is equipped with pipes for fresh and waste water, so it also empties the water tank. After that, the tank is automatically filled with fresh water. you can also add detergent to the liquid - it is dosed. Moreover, the station washes and dries floor cloths, cleaning them of dirt and removing unpleasant odors. All the owner has to do is periodically change the garbage bags, drain the dirty water and refill the clean water.
The mop itself here is double, so it should clean up dirt and stains more effectively. As it drives up to the carpet, the vacuum cleaner automatically lifts the rags so they don't wet the pile. In addition, the robot raises the mop when it returns to the charging station so it doesn't contaminate the floor that has already been washed.
The vacuum has suction power up to 4,000 Pa, 4 speed modes, voice control, and various sensors that help map the room, go around obstacles, and plan your route.
Here's What It Costs
The Xiaomi Mijia 1S costs $560. But that's only in China. Whether the model will be sold on the global market is unknown.
