The authors of Horizon: Forbidden West are looking for a "lore historian" to help make sense of the history and world of Horizon
The developers of Horizon: Forbidden West Guerrilla Games are looking for a "lore historian / archivist" to help fans understand the Horizon universe and lore. The search for such a person is connected with the fact that Horizon plans to go beyond the games on PlayStation.
Here's What We Know
The job description states that it is necessary to create a clean and accessible internal database, in wiki format, of all previous Horizon stories - both from games and other media.
The Horizon series plans to expand in a big way. For example, there are already comics Horizon: A New Dawn. Horizon Zero Dawn: The Sunhawk and Horizon: Liberation. Both are canon and form a bridge between the first and second parts of the game.
Famous game journalist Jeff Grubb stated that Netflix is working on a Horizon series, which should be called Horizon 2047. Also, do not forget about the release of Horizon Call of the Mountain next year. This will be a new game in the series created for PlayStation VR2 virtual reality glasses.
So it is not surprising that Guerrilla started looking for a person who will create one simple and informative database with images, presentations about the history of Horizon and will keep the lore of the universe up to date over time.
More details about the vacancy can be found at this link.
