Meta is set to unveil its new virtual reality headset, codenamed Project Cambria VR, as early as October 11, but rumors about the successor to Oculus Quest 2 have begun to surface on the web.
Here's What We Know
While the Cambria will be a premium device with better specs, Oculus Quest 3 will be a more affordable version. We don't know much about the device: its codename is Project Stinson, and Meta's statement that it will be a "true sequel to Oculus Quest 2" and will have mid-range features between OQ 2 and Cambria.

Also recently insider Brad Lynch published CAD files of the new headset. And it does look like a logical extension of Quest 2. The main components are placed on the display, the head strap remains unchanged. Also, apparently, there will be no eye-tracking feature, which would be a major improvement for Cambria.
Of course, the source is not one hundred percent, but Lynch has a good reputation, so you can trust his information, although everyone decides for himself.
