Xiaomi 12T Pro: the company's first smartphone with a 200 MP camera for €750
Today Xiaomi introduced its new flagships - Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro - on the international market. Of course, the Pro model stands out more in this pair, as it is the Chinese manufacturer's first smartphone with a 200-megapixel camera. The world championship went to the Moto X30 Pro presented in August, so the Xiaomi 12T Pro will be his competitor.
Here's What We Know
The camera is based on Samsung's 1/1.22-inch ISOCELL HP1 sensor with 0.64 µm pixels, which can be clustered up to 1.28 µm (4-in-1) or even 2.56 µm (16-in-1). The sensor supports 2x lossless digital zoom, can shoot 8K video, records HDR10+ footage and has optical image stabilization (OIS). The camera also includes an 8 MP ultra-wide lens and a 2 MP macro sensor. For selfies, there's a 20-megapixel front camera.
The front panel is occupied by a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1220×2712 pixels, refresh rate up to 120 Hz and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and has a built-in fingerprint scanner.
Inside, there's a top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and a 5,000mAh capacity battery that supports 120W fast charging. Xiaomi didn't get greedy and included a proper charger. According to the manufacturer, one charge of the battery is enough for 13.5 hours of battery life, and a full charge to 100% will take only 19 minutes.
Useful additions include stereo speakers with Harman Kardon settings and Dolby Atmos support.
Here's What It Costs
Xiaomi 12T Pro will go on sale on October 13. Its price starts at €750 for the base version with 8/128GB of storage.
