Xiaomi announced the Redmi A1+ smartphone two days ahead of schedule. Its presentation was supposed to take place on October 7, but the novelty has already debuted. Although so far only in Africa.

Here's What We Know

Redmi A1+ is a slightly improved version of the Redmi A1 model, which was introduced in September. The manufacturer added a fingerprint scanner and provided a version with 3 GB of RAM, not just 2 GB.

The smartphone is equipped with an HD+ LCD screen with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a diagonal of 6.52". The main camera has a resolution of 8 MP + 0.3 MP, and the front - 5 MP. In the arsenal of new items there is a battery of 5000 mA*h, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Mini-Jack. The hardware platform is built around the chip Helio A22.

The price of the Redmi A1+ was $85 in the 2/32 GB modification. The price of the version with 3 GB of RAM is not specified yet. On sale the model will appear with the operating system Android 12 Go Edition.
