Not just HIMARS: Ukraine received an advanced IRIS-T air defense system, costing 140,000,000 euros
Following an additional batch of HIMARS, Ukraine also received an advanced IRIS-T air defense system.
Here's What We Know
Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov told about it in social networks. IRIS-T was given to us by Germany. It took several months to develop the system for Ukraine. It costs 140,000,000 euros and is able to protect a city the size of Kyiv from missiles, drones, etc. This system was originally intended for Egypt, but in the end we were the first to receive it. By the way, we are to receive four such air defense systems in total. One more will be handed over later this year, and the other two will come to us in early 2023.
A new era of air defense has begun in ????????. The IRIS-Ts from ???????? are already here. ???????? NASAMS are coming. This is only the beginning. And we need more. No doubt that russia is a terrorist state.
