A great addition to the Bora, J-600T, ATACMS and TRG-300: Turkish company Roketsan has tested the TYFUN ballistic missile with a range of 300 to 1000 km for the first time
The Turkish company Roketsan has tested the ballistic missile TYFUN (aka Typhoon) for the first time.
Here's What We Know
The information was shared by @SavunmaSanayiST agency on Twitter. The missile was tested at the Rize-Artvin airport, which is located in eastern Turkey (near the border with Georgia). During the flight, the TYFUN missile hit its target in 458 seconds at a distance of about 561 kilometers. The final version of the missile will be able to destroy targets at a distance of 300 to 1000 kilometers. There is no information when mass production of TYFUN will begin.
The Turkish military already operates a plethora of tactical ballistic missiles and artillery missiles; Bora (280+ km), J-600T Yıldırım (150+ km), ATACMS (300km), and TRG-300 (120km).

The Tayfun will posses a much further reach than any missile system before in Turkish service.
By the way, Turkey's armed forces now use a lot of other tactical ballistic and artillery missiles. For example, Bora (280+ km range), J-600T (150+ km), ATACMS (300 km) and TRG-300 (120 km).
