Snapdragon 4 Gen1, 5.5" "cinematic" OLED screen and a 4,500 mAh battery - Sony Xperia Ace IV specifications announced

Sony is preparing to announce a new generation smartphone Ace. It will be called Sony Xperia Ace IV.

Here's What We Know

The model will get a "cinematic" Full HD+ OLED display with a diagonal of 5.5" and an aspect ratio of 21 to 9. For comparison, the smartphone of the current generation uses IPS-matrix with proportions of 19 to 9.

The update will also apply to the chip. Sony Xperia Ace IV will get a 6nm Snapdragon 4 Gen1 processor instead of Snapdragon 480. CPU and GPU performance will increase by 15% and 10% respectively. In AnTuTu the chip gives performance at the level of Snapdragon 695, which is used in the Xperia IV.

Sony Xperia Ace IV will be equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery with 18W fast charging. The model will also get water protection, Mini-Jack, a microSD slot, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The first three models of the Xperia Ace series were sold only in Japan. But according to preliminary information, Sony Xperia Ace IV will appear on the global market. Price and presentation date have not been specified yet.
