NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 caught fire while playing Red Dead Redemption 2
An unpleasant incident happened to one of the lucky owners of GeForce RTX 4090. The new NVIDIA video card caught fire right during the game.
Here's What We Know
The owner of the graphics card told about the incident in social networks. According to him, the graphics card caught fire while playing Red Dead Redemption 2. As confirmation, he posted a photo showing the melted 16-pin power connector.
The user adds that the cable, which acts as an adapter from four 8-pin connectors to one 16-pin connector, caught fire during the game. The owner of the video card believes that it was a faulty cable that caused the fire.
