Ukraine will receive 11 PUMA-LE drones with a range of 60 km for more than ₴540 million
The Armed Forces of Ukraine will soon receive a new batch of PUMA-LE (Long Endurance) drones.

Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced that Ukraine is buying 11 drones from AeroVironment through the "Drone Army" project. The contract cost ₴541.67 million ($14.76 million).
Together with the drones, Ukraine will receive Long-Range Tracking Antenna (LTRA) antennas, which increase the range of PUMA-LE from 20 km to 60 km. AeroVironment's drones are equipped with a 6x zoom thermal imager, which allows detection of the enemy in any weather and at any time of day.
PUMA-LE can stay in the air for 5.5 hours and climb to an altitude of 3,000 meters. The drone includes an interchangeable Mantis i45 optronic system weighing 0.8 kg. The maximum payload mass is 2.5 kg. PUMA-LE are in service in 18 countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany and the United States.
