SpaceX will launch Starlink for cars in December, but will have to buy a satellite for $2500 to work
Very soon, Starlink satellite Internet will be available in moving vehicles. The service is called Starlink for RVs. SpaceX plans to launch the service in December this year.
Here's What We Know
Users can already install the equipment on their vehicles, but the service will only work during parking. The cost of a satellite to install on vehicles is $600.

And those who want to use Starlink internet service not only while parked, but also while on the move will have to pay several times as much. To get Starlink for RV to work fully, you have to buy a $2500 Flat High Performance dish. Plus, you have to pay another $50 for shipping and installation.
The disadvantages of the service do not end there. SpaceX says that Starlink for RV subscribers have a lower priority than users of the "home" version of satellite Internet. Therefore, they may have problems with data transfer speeds during peak hours. But the cost of the tariff will not change and will remain at $135 per month.
