We just found out that in the fourth season of The Witcher series, the role of the main character will be played by a different actor. Instead of Henry Cavill, Liam Hemsworth, the star of "The Hunger Games" will appear as Geralt.

According to the publication Redanian Intelligence, Liam Hemsworth was involved in the casting for the role of Geralt during preparations for the filming of the first season of the series. Even then, he was interested in the directors and screenwriters as the famous witch, but Henry Cavill, apparently, was more convincing.

When Henry Cavill announced his departure from the project, the creators of the series offered Liam Hemsworth the role, not even arranging the casting.

In the third season, which begins in the summer of 2023, viewers will see the Herald performed by Cavill, but the release date of the fourth season with the new actor is still unknown, the most likely date of release - 2025.
