The flagship smartphone Sony Xperia 1 IV received the operating system Android 13, but with an old security patch.

Google and Samsung started releasing an update for their smartphones with the November security patch. But the Sony Xperia 1 IV received the October 2022 Android 13 operating system security patch.

The update is distributed in Europe "by air," but so far it is only available for smartphones with two SIM cards (XQ-CT54) of mobile operators EE, O2 and Altice. The software number is 64.1.A.0.851.
