Avenger SAMs, HAWK air defense missiles, HIMARS rockets, and 155mm artillery ammunition - U.S. announces new $400 million military aid package for Ukraine

As expected, the United States announced a new military aid package for Ukraine. A detailed list of weapons is published on the Pentagon website.

This time, the United States will transfer $400 million worth of weapons to Ukraine. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan earlier announced that Ukraine would receive Avenger surface-to-air missile systems. As it turned out, the Pentagon will send four SAMs along with Stinger missiles.

The new package includes missiles for HAWK air defense systems. Ukraine has received four of them, and two more are on the way. Rockets for the M142 HIMARS high-mobility artillery system will also be replenished.

Ukraine will receive 10,000 120-mm mines, 500 high-precision and 21,000 high-precision 155-mm shells, 100 Humvee armored vehicles and 400 grenade launchers. In addition, the package includes small arms with optics and 20 million rounds of ammunition, equipment for debris removal and winter gear.
