The British Army has ordered £17 million worth of XACT nv33 night vision goggles from Elbit Systems
Elbit Systems has been awarded an additional contract to manufacture and supply night vision goggles for the British Army.

We are talking about XACT nv33 lightweight micro-binocular goggles in helmet-mounted configuration. The cost of the contract is £17 million ($20 million). The agreement commits the company to provide lifetime support for the system.
The XACT nv33 is Elbit Systems' latest goggles. They increase military capabilities, allowing them to more effectively perform their tasks in low light conditions. The gadget gives them the ability to detect enemies early, react quickly and maintain a tactical advantage.
The work under the contract will be carried out over a period of 18 months. This is not the first agreement between Elbit Systems and the UK Ministry of Defense. In 2021, the parties signed a contract worth £11.5 million ($16.2 million). in addition to the UK, the XACT nv33 system is in service in the Netherlands and Germany.
