There will be 30 categories at The Game Awards 2022. The leader of this year's ceremony is God of War Ragnarok - the game is nominated for 10 awards at once
Geoff Keighley, along with the announcement of 6 games that will compete for the title of "Game of the Year" at The Game Awards 2022, named other categories and games for which gamers will vote.

God of War Ragnarok got the most nominations - 10. Next are Elden Ring and Horizon Forbidden West, which received 7 nominations each. On the 4th place was Stray - an adventure game about a red cat, which will fight for 6 nominations, and closes the top 5 A Plague Tale Requiem. It is nominated for 5 awards.
