In the first week of sales, the physical edition of God of War Ragnarok overtook Elden Ring and Modern Warfare II in the UK

According to Gamesindustry, the physical edition of God of War Ragnarok became the second best-selling title in the UK this year, behind only FIFA 23.

The PlayStation exclusive is ahead of Elden Ring, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Pokémon Legends: Arceus. It is not yet known how the digital copy of the game was sold, but everything is obvious there. But if we return to the physical edition, then 82% of the first week's sales were on PS5, and 18% - on PS4.

It also became known that Sony sold 51% more copies in the first week than God of War 2018. Ragnarok has already become the third best-selling game in the God of War series, and the second in terms of revenue.
