DJI has launched sales of remanufactured equipment - Mini 3 Pro drone costs $100-120
The Chinese company DJI started selling refurbished equipment. So far, only the quadcopter and the camera are available.
Here's What We Know
Only residents of China can buy refurbished equipment at this stage. Whether DJI plans to expand its geography, is currently not specified.
Right now, the range includes only DJI Mini 3 Pro and DJI Pocket 2. The cost of the quadcopter is $575-700, depending on the package. That's $100 to $120 cheaper than the new drone. The Pocket 2 camera is offered with a discount up to $75.
DJI notes that the devices went through several stages of refurbishment before going back on sale. They were previously used. The company confirms that there may still be minor scratches on the body, but the technical condition of the equipment is close to perfect. The reconditioned units are also covered by a warranty.
