Without breaking away from your favorite games: Sony Honda Mobility's innovative electric cars, manufacturers plan to integrate the PlayStation 5 game console

Since 2025, the first electric car model jointly developed by Sony and Honda will appear on the market of electric cars.

It is declared that both manufacturers will integrate all their best developments into the car.

Honda will present advanced technologies in the field of safety, environmental protection, manufacture of bodywork and after-sales service management.

In turn, Sony will be engaged in systems of image processing, road danger detection, navigation, communication and, of course, entertainment services.

Thus, The Financial Times reports that even the PlayStation 5 game console will appear in Sony Honda Mobility electric cars.

President of Sony Honda Mobility Izumi Kawanishi, who previously worked in the robotics department of Sony, assured that installing the PS5 in cars is "technologically possible.

The PlayStation 5 integration is said to be driven by a desire to compete with the famous Tesla electric cars, which have a powerful on-board computer built in to run more and more top video games.

But Sony has another advantage over Tesla:

Sony has entertainment content, services and technology that move people. We adapt them to move, and in that we have power over Tesla.

According to Sony Honda's vision, the electric car will have an advanced autopilot system. The Japanese want to create cars in which the user does not have to worry about driving, but can simply enjoy the ride and use entertainment content.
