Honor 80 Pro - Snapdragon 8+ Gen1, 160MP camera, dual front and 120Hz display starting at $490
As expected, Honor introduced the flagship smartphone Honor 80 Pro, but on the chip of the last generation.
Here's What We Know
The novelty is equipped with SoC Snapdragon 8+ Gen1, and not Snapdragon 8 Gen2, as announced the day before vivo X90 Pro+. The RAM capacity is 8/12 GB, and the built-in storage capacity is 256/512 GB. The battery has a capacity of 4800 mAh and only supports wired charging. It has a power capacity of 66 watts.
The Honor 80 Pro has an AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The 2,700 x 1,224-dot panel has a 6.78" diagonal and a cutout for a dual front-facing camera. Alas, the rumors of a dual 50 MP + 50 MP module have not been confirmed. Instead, the smartphone received a camera with a resolution of 50 MP + 2 MP.
On the back of the novelty is a system of three modules - 160 MP + 50 MP + 2 MP. The main image sensor has an optical format of 1/1.56" and pixel size of 0.56 microns. In pixel aggregation mode, the smartphone produces photos of 40 MP resolution. The 50 MP module has ultra-wide-angle optics.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The smartphone will be available for pre-order today, November 23, but only in China. The model will be available in Bright Black, Jade Green, Blue Wave and Pink Morning Glow colors. You can read about the prices below. The global version of Honor 80 Pro is expected next year.
