Wave Break will be available on Xbox consoles on December 21

Japanese developer Funktronic Labs announced the release date of the skateboarding game Wave Break. It will be released on Xbox Series and Xbox One on December 21st this year, and will cost $20. At the beginning of the sale, the game will be available at a discount of -15%.

Wave Break is advertised by the developers as a game about skateboarding, where you will perform tricks, jumps and grinds with turns to score points and complete objectives. You also have the option to play with other players, where you will be given a weapon to shoot your competitors.

On Metacritic, critics gave the game a cool 54 out of 100 points, but there are no scores from players. Reviewers praise the fun gameplay and lots of interesting levels, but also complain about the small amount of content and the high entry barrier.
