Bungie has published a new trailer for the Lightfall expansion for Destiny 2, which will launch in early 2023

This week is very busy for Destiny 2 fans: Season of the Seraph began only on Tuesday, and a new trailer for the Lightfall expansion, which will be released next year, was released at The Game Awards 2022.

Here's What We Know

In Lightfall, the guards will go to the previously unknown city of Neomuna, which is located on Neptune, to find a mysterious weapon that should help in the fight against The Witness. The weapon is most likely a force called Strand, which will be a new subclass in the game. Bungie itself calls it a force that braids the entire universe, but in the hands of our hero it will be an excuse to fight evil as a green ninja.

On Neomun you will have to face the Emperor Calus, who has now become a disciple of the Witness and leads a legion of Cabal warriors. Also, new enemies have appeared from the Pyramid ship - Tormentors, which will pose an even greater threat than Lucent Hive, which was introduced in this year's DLC The Witchqueen.

Lightfall DLC will be released on February 28, 2023.
