Asus VivoWatch 5 Aero: a fitness tracker that measures heart rate, SpO2 and ECG at the touch of a finger

Asus introduced a rather unusual fitness tracker called the Asus VivoWatch 5 Aero.

Details

It looks like an ordinary smart bracelet with a rectangular display, a silicone strap, and health monitoring functions: measuring heart rate, blood oxygen level, and ECG. The twist is that the user needs to touch the screen with their finger to determine all of these indicators. There are also sensors on the back of the body, as in most similar gadgets, but they are more responsible for round-the-clock monitoring of indicators.

In addition, the bracelet is able to determine the level of stress, monitor the duration and quality of sleep, supports the most popular sports modes and records the speed of running and the distance covered. Thanks to the built-in GPS, the latter indicators should be more accurate.

Claimed water protection 5 ATM, weight of only 26 g and about a week of battery life on a single charge.

Here's What It Costs

Asus VivoWatch 5 Aero is priced at $120. While the novelty is sold only in China, when there will be a global release - is unknown.
