Netflix introduces wireless headphones for the first time: collab with BoAt, three models and price from $16
Indian audio brand boAt has teamed up with Netflix to create three Stream Edition models of wireless headphones. This is the first time Netflix has officially put its name on an audio product.
Here's What We've Seen
The first model is called the Nirvana 751 ANC Stream Edition. These are full-size wireless headphones in black, blue and silver. They feature 40mm drivers and hybrid ANC, which can suppress external noise up to 33dB. There's also Bluetooth 5.0 and a USB-C port for charging.
Battery life depends on the noise cancelling function: if it is off, one battery charge is enough for 65 hours, if it is on - this time is reduced to 54 hours.
Nirvana 751 ANC Stream Edition cost only $48.
The second model is the classic Airdopes 411 ANC Stream Edition "earmuffs" with 10mm drivers, IPX4 protection and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. There's also active noise cancellation, and the battery life along with the charging case is 17.5 hours.
The headphones are available in black, white and blue for $32.
Finally, the third Rockerz 333 Pro Stream Edition is headphones with a neckband, 10mm drivers, IPX5 protection, Bluetooth 5.2, fast charging and 60 hours of battery life. They cost just $16 and are available in black and blue.
Sales of all three models start Dec. 20. They are only available in India, with no word yet on a global release.
