It's official: Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro will get MIUI 14 on Android 13 in spring 2023

Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the new version of the software MIUI 14 will be available to flagship smartphones 2020 in the spring.

The presentation of MIUI 14 took place in early December. The firmware has several interesting features. For example, an analogue of Tamagotchi and a "photonic engine". With the first function everything is clear, and the second is designed for smoother operation of third-party applications.

MIUI 14 will be available for 2022 flagships in January, but owners of older smartphones will have to wait. Zhang Guoquan, head of the division that develops the firmware, officially confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro will receive the update in March 2023.

And MIUI 14 will be based on the Android 13 operating system. This means the 2020 models will get three iterations of Android, as they came on sale with Android 10 out of the box.
