Here's What We Know
The production version of the vehicle will appear in 2025. The XPeng AeroHT X3 will cost about $140,000. This is reported by Bloomberg, citing Zhao Deli, the founder of the Chinese company.
At the moment, XPeng AeroHT has a sixth-generation prototype in its possession. It is equipped with Chinese batteries and four electric motors.
The peculiarity of the XPeng AeroHT X3 will be the fact that the car will travel on the ground most of the time. In particular, we are talking about 90% of the work in this mode. The presence of eight propellers will allow it to climb to a height of 10 meters to avoid traffic jams or other obstacles.
XPeng invested in AeroHT in 2020. Until then, the startup employed only 10 people. It now has 700 employees and has grown to $1.5 billion in capitalization.
