Tesla got an army of Kuka robots to produce the Cybertruck
A batch of robots has arrived in Texas and will participate in the assembly of the long-suffering Cybertruck vehicles. Production of the original vehicle has been postponed several times, but now Elon Musk is optimistic about the future.
Here's What We Know
The assembly of the vehicles at the Texas plant is expected to be set up by the middle of next year. Kuka industrial robots will help with this. A batch of 66 robots has arrived at the Tesla plant.
The 66 Kuka production line robots arrived in Houston on the 18th. The Kuka robots have been used on ALL Tesla production lines, just makes most sense at this time to be in regards to #Cybertruck $tsla Check out below! Incl. example of WHAT Kuka Robots are specifically! pic.twitter.com/3K4uwuSCaR

American manufacturer will not force the assembly of pickups at first. This may explain the small batch of Kuka robots. Elon Musk says Tesla will only be able to focus on Cybertruck production once the Model Y plant reaches design capacity. Right now, the Austin-based firm is only producing 3,000 cars a week, with a target of 5,000 units.
