realme introduced a 240W charger, realme GT Neo 5 will be the first smartphone to get it

The company realme held an event in China, at which it announced a new fast charging technology.

We are talking about the SuperVOOC power supply for smartphone with 240W power. According to the company, this is now the fastest mobile charger in the world. The new charger is only 5% bigger than the 150W Realme power pack. The novelty also got one USB-C port.

The 240W SuperVOOC is compatible with 65W Power Delivery, Quick Charge and VOOC technologies. By the way, according to the manufacturer, after 1600 full charging cycles from 0 to 100% with the new technology, the efficiency of the smartphone battery is more than 80%.

When We Can Expect It

The realme GT Neo 5 will be the first smartphone with 240W charging support. The novelty will be presented in February.
