The AFU may receive upgraded Czech DANA-M2 SAU based on the Tatra 815 VP 31M 8×8 chassis with an automatic firing mode
The Armed Forces of Ukraine may hand over modernized Czech DANA-M2 self-propelled artillery units in the near future.

A video of one of the units on a tractor was posted by a Twitter user under the nickname @praisethesteph. According to the voiceover, the SAU will soon go to Ukraine. It is not yet known how many units will be handed over to the AFU. By the way, the DANA-M2 deliveries were not officially reported.

DANA-M2 is modernized version of Czechoslovak howitzer ShKH vz. 77 DANA, which is produced by Czech defense company Excalibur Army. The gun is built on the chassis of the Tatra 815 VP 31M 8×8. It has a new cabin and upgraded automatic fire control system. Maximum firing range of DANA-M2 is 25.5 km.
