Mark Gurman: Mac Pro with Apple Silicon chip will not get support for expandable RAM and will look like the current model
Bloomberg journalist and insider Mark Gurman continues to share details about unannounced Apple products. This time he revealed information about the new Mac Pro.
Here's What We Know
So, according to Gurman, the novelty will not differ externally from the model, which was announced in July 2019. That is, the device will get a stainless steel and aluminum body, which will resemble a kitchen grater. In addition, the new Mac Pro should not wait for support for expandable RAM.
The computer will run the proprietary M2 Ultra processor. It will boast of a 24-core CPU. The chip will also get up to 76 cores of GPU and a minimum of 192 GB of RAM.
When We Can Expect It
Unfortunately, there is no announcement date for the new Mac Pro yet. Presumably, the computer will be shown at the end of 2023.
