Not only Leopard 2: the AFU may receive British Challenger 2 tanks
A couple of hours ago we wrote that Poland is ready to transfer German Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. As it turned out, the Ukrainian Armed Forces may also receive another NATO standard tank model.

We are talking about the British tank Challenger 2. According to Sky News, discussions have been going on in Britain for several weeks about the supply of heavy armament. If the transfer of tanks is approved, the AFU may receive 10 vehicles.
Flashback
The Challenger 2 is the main battle tank of the British ground forces. It was developed in 1990s by BAE Systems. The tank was removed from production in 2009. The Challenger 2 took part in combat operations in Kosovo and Iraq. As of 2022, Britain had 227 Challenger 2 tanks in service. Oman's armed forces also use 38 tanks.
