Bentley sold more than 15,000 cars in one year for the first time in its history

Bentley was able to set a personal record for car sales last year. In addition, for the first time in its history, it was able to sell more than 15,000 cars in a single calendar year.

Bentley sold 15,174 cars in 2022. That's a 4 percent increase over 2021 (14,659 units). The company said new models, including hybrid vehicles, and an increase in demand for customizable cars were major factors in the progress.

The most popular model is the Bentley Bentayga. It has a 42% share of total sales. The Bentley Continental GT and Continental GT Convertible took 30 percent, with the remaining 28 percent coming from the Bentley Flying Spur.

North Americans owned 28% of the 15,174 cars. Customers from Asia bought 24% of Bentley cars this time, down 9% from 2021. This was a surprise for the company.
