An animated series based on the micro-survival Grounded is being prepared
According to Deadline, Survivor Grounded will be turned into an animated series.
The events of the TV show will unfold in the same universe as the game. Four teenage friends stumble upon a device that shrinks them to a tiny size. Now they need to survive in the backyard, fighting off insects, and uncover a corporate conspiracy that threatens the entire city.

So far, only the names of two screenwriters are known:
- Brien Goodrich, the director of Halo 4 and Halo 5.
- Brent Friedman is a screenwriter of the animated series "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" in 2008, "Star Trek: Enterprise" and Earthworm Jim: Beyond the Groovy.
The series is being produced by Obsidian Entertainment and Xbox in association with Waterproof Studios, SC Productions, Kinetic Media and Bardel Entertainment.
There is no release date for the series.
