Stinger MANPADS, helicopters, machine guns, drones and ammunition: Latvia to give Ukraine a new package of military assistance
Latvia continues to help Ukraine by announcing a new military aid package for the AFU.

This was announced on the website of the Latvian Ministry of Defense. The new package will include ammunition, machine guns, drones, as well as helicopters. What kind of information is not yet available.
In addition, Ukraine will receive from Latvia a new batch of Stinger man-portable air defense systems. The AFU has been using them since the beginning of the full-scale war. The MANPADs boast an infrared homing head. The Stinger has a range of 200 m to 4.5 km. The missile is 1.52 m long and 7 cm in diameter. The weight of the warhead is 3 kg. The cost of one Stinger unit is approximately $60,000-70,000.
Deliveries of the weapon will begin in the near future.
