Rheinmetall may transfer 139 Leopard 1 and Leopard 2 tanks to the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The German concern Rheinmetall is ready to supply Leopard tanks to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

A representative of the company told that RND publication. According to him, Rheinmetall may transfer a total of 139 tanks. Of these, 29 Leopard 2A4 tanks will be ready for shipment in April or May. Another 22 Leopard 2A4 tanks will have to be repaired. Deliveries may not begin until late 2023 or early 2024. As for the remaining vehicles, they will be Leopard 1s.
By the way, Germany has not yet given permission to supply the tanks, but according to a representative of the U.S. State Department, it will happen in the next few days.
