Not just Sweden: Norway may give Ukraine CV90 infantry fighting vehicles
The Swedish government recently announced the delivery of Great addition to M2 Bradley, Stryker and FV430 Bulldog: Sweden to give Ukraine 50 CV90 infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine. As it turns out, another country may supply such BMPs to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Here's What We Know
We are talking about Norway. According to the TV2 newspaper, the country's Defence Ministry has applied to the General Staff with a request to consider the possibility of transferring the CV90 BMPs to Ukraine. It is not known yet whether the deliveries of the vehicles will be approved or not.
By the way, all 164 infantry fighting vehicles in service in Norway are in the modification CV9030N (Strf 9030). This infantry fighting vehicle has 605 hp engine and armor protected against 30 mm rounds. CV9030N is equipped with a 40-mm Bofors L/70 automatic gun, as well as 30-mm Bushmaster II automatic gun.
