It has been revealed when Xiaomi's older flagships will receive stable MIUI 14 firmware
Chinese sources have revealed the release dates of MIUI 14 software for the 2020 flagship smartphones. Users don't have long to wait.
Here's What We Know
We're talking about the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro models, which were announced almost three years ago. Both smartphones feature the Snapdragon 865 chip and went on sale with the Android 10 operating system, complete with the MIUI 11 shell.
The 2020 flagships recently received a stable MIUI 13 firmware along with Android 12. The final version of MIUI 14 will be released in April. It will be based on Android 13. Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro owners can still hope for newer versions of the shell to be released, but Android 13 will be the last update of the operating system.
Aside from the flagships, the low-cost 2020 smartphones will receive the update in April. We're talking about the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite and Mi 10 Youth. The latter model is only available in China and is almost an exact copy of the Lite version. The key difference is that the variant for the global market does not have a periscopic camera.
