Ukrainian military will learn how to use British AS90 SAU in coming days
In January, the UK announced that it would hand over 30 AS90 SAUs to Ukraine. It has now been reported that a training programme for Ukrainian crews will begin in the coming days.
Here's What We Know
This has been announced by the country's Ministry of Defence. The Ukrainian military have already arrived in the UK for training. How long the training will take is unknown. As for deliveries, it is likely that the howitzers will be handed over to the AFU in spring together with Challenger 2 tanks.

AS90 is a British self-propelled artillery system developed by Vickers Shipbuilding and Engineering (a division of BAE Systems). The AS90 is capable of engaging targets at ranges up to 25km. The combat vehicle is equipped with a 660 horsepower diesel engine, which allows highway speeds of up to 55 km/h.
