Remedy has announced that Alan Wake 2 is already playable from start to finish. The game should be released by the end of 2023
In their financial report for the fourth quarter of 2022, Finnish studio Remedy Entertainment revealed more details about their most ambitious project - Alan Wale 2.
Here's What We Know
Remedy notes that Alan Wake 2 is in an active stage of production. Soon, all the content will be ready in the game, and the project can already be completed from start to finish. Soon, the developers will start polishing the game.
But Alan Wake Remastered does not yet generate royalties. However, the studio expects sales to increase as the release of Alan Wake 2 approaches and fans and new players want to play through the original story on next-gen consoles.
Flashback
Alan Wake 2 - will continue the story of the first part, in which the American writer Alan came with his wife Alice to the quiet American town of Bright Falls. However, the mystical events of the town plunge Alan into darkness, from which he will have to escape and deal with the secrets that hang over the town and Wake. Remedy stated that the second part will be the first full-fledged survival-horror for the studio, with a tense atmosphere and psychedelic moments.
When We Can Expect It
Alan Wake 2 is scheduled for release in 2023 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
