Ukraine receives a batch of Swedish L-70 anti-aircraft guns that can destroy air targets at distances of up to 12.5km
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have received L-70 anti-aircraft guns and ammunition from Lithuania.

The country's Defence Minister Arvydas Anusauskas made the announcement. The minister did not disclose the number of units, but previously it was said about 36 units. The AFU plans to use the L-70 to protect critical infrastructure from Iran's Shahed-136 kamikaze drones.

The L70 is a 40mm multi-purpose automatic gun developed by the Swedish company AB Bofors (now BAE Systems Bofors) in the 1940s. It entered service in 1952. The anti-aircraft gun boasts an electro-hydraulic drive and the ability to engage air targets at ranges of up to 12.5 km.
